just like Purani Delhi is famous for us. so purana qila is also famous in all qila like that. Its current form was built by Sher Shah Suri Suri empire founder. Rectifying a wide area around the town of Old Fort with massive defenses raised. It is believed that the old fort was still incomplete at the death of Sher Shah in 1545, and probably was completed by his son Islam Shah, though it is not certain which parts were made by whom. Perhaps the old fort site Indraprastha, legendary capital of the Pandavas was.
