Walking distance from Old Delhi Railway station and ISBT Kashmere Gate. Chawri Bazaar is the nearest Metro Station - 500m away. AC and non-AC buses connect Jama Masjid to the entire Old and New Delhi. Autos and taxis can also be availed to reach here.

HISTORY OF JAMA  MASJID

At the time of Shah Jahan was known as the central mosque of Old Delhi. The mosque was completed in 1656 year,It was used for the Noon's Prayer.The mosque has a capacity of about 25,000 people in India is higher than in any other mosque.Around 5000 workers work for the mosque were shielding.
